My Calendar

The Humane Society puts a great emphasis on that they have more than just dogs and cats to take care of, so I made sure to showcase three totally different animals on each month: a horse, dog, and parrot. I made sure to use Stockvault.net so that I would be granted the use of the animal photos. I also chose these specific animals because they all have different colors that relate to them, this allowed me to coordinate each page specifically for that animal, thus making the calendar visibly interesting to my audience. In addition, I used a fancier font for my month titles to draw my audiences in, but used a more plain text for the coupons and the calendar itself during excel so that it would be easy to read. Plus, for the holiday months I made sure to add some kind of element that would celebrate that time of the year. Although I wanted to make the calendar very neat and concise in order to ease a busy customers mind of their busy schedule, I added a few elements for fun, such as the dog photo that looks as though it is 3D. It’s very important for the Human Society to produce a calendar that all individuals would enjoy so that they can make a significant amount of money to give towards their animals, and that is exactly what I tried to accomplish.
